CV / Resume

Assalamu'alaikum, CV/resume ini adalah tugas Bahasa Inggris ketiga ku. Kalo kalian mau tau lebih lanjut, baca blog aku ini ya, terimakasih.

CV/ resume

1. Definition

What is a CV?

The term Curriculum Vitae (CV) literally translates to “the course of your life” from Latin. And that pretty much sums up what it should consist of.

A CV is supposed to go through your whole life, your whole work history, education, academic accomplishments, research, any publications that have your name on them, and anything else you have done in your professional life.

If employers expect more candidates for a given position, they may ask for a CV summary. That is a shortened version of your CV, typically 2-3 pages long, that helps them pre-select candidates before they see your full CV.

And one last thing – if you are applying for a job in Europe, you should know that there the term CV is used for what is called a resume in the USA. So feel free to just rename your resume file to “[Name] CV” and you should be good to go.

My Experience in On The Job Training

Time I would like to share my experience during my 6 months of internship at the Kompimpro City Hall. We entered the Prakerin at 07.30 WIB, the first time we entered we were introduced to the employees. And on that first day we had not been given any assignments.

The next day we were asked by our supervisor to do newspaper clippings. The newspapers that appear most often are Tribun Jateng, Suara Merdeka and Radar Semarang. The news that often came out at that time was about covid-19 and the relocation of Pasar Johar. In addition, we are also assigned to analyze news that is important and comes out the most often.

To fill our free time, we usually watch movies/YouTube on our laptop while eating the lunch we brought from home. When midday arrives, we got ready for the midday prayer at the City Hall Mosque. After praying, we usually buy snacks in the Taman Pekunden area. The snacks that are most often purchased are crepes, batagor and meatballs. We also usually eat chicken noodles at Taman Pekunden, because it’s cheap and delicious.

And every Friday, we have to eat Soto next to Lawang Sewu because there is a half price discount. We have also been invited to eat together and treated by Mr. Ipung, Mrs. Sintia, Mrs. Nani and others. They are employees of Kompimpro. And every time someone has a birthday at Kompimpro, they are usually treated to snacks.

An extra task in my free time, when asked to help put a fairly large book into a small bag. It made my hand red and sore because it was hard to put it in. It took 2 hours to complete.

We went home Prakerin at 15.00 WIB. Before returning home, we stopped by the City Hall Mosque to pray Ashar. Usually, when I go home from my internship, they pick me up, if I don’t pick them up, I take the BRT.

Nah, jadi itu teman-teman pengalamanku. Kalo kalian suka bisa comment ya, nanti aku buat lagi hehe. Kalo kalian merasa ada yang kurang atau ada salah penulisan juga comment ya gais. Makasihh, babaiii
